Unleash your router's 3D capabilities without breaking the bank.
New from a world-renowned software company and the maker's of the largest online library of ready-to-use 3D models comes ArtClip3D, the easiest way to add 3D functionality to 3-axis CNC routers. ArtClip3D introduces a new method of designing layouts based on the "assembly" concept. Premade models can be downloaded and saved from an extensive online library and then combined to create endless design possibilities. This assembly concept removes the traditional learning curves associated with 3D model creation and allows users to jump in and start designing and cutting jobs on day one. ArtClip3D's preloaded tool database and precise toolpath generation help simplify project setup and machining ensuring quality results. Additional tools such as texturing, virtual job simulation and a full text editor make ArtClip3D the best value and most powerful solution for distributors and end users looking to capitalize on the high margin 3D sign industry.

•    ArtClip3D will be demoed at Eastec 2011

ArtClip3D will be presented at the EASTEC Exposition to be held in West Springfield, Massachusetts from 17th to 19th May.

ArtClip3D software is seen as being the easiest to learn and the fastest to use engraving, V-carving, 3D routing software currently available on the market.  Sign, Die, Mold makers that are not attending the Expo can obtain full details on the software and obtain a demo from www.artclip3d.com/contacts

ArtClip3D offers 2D drawing, 2D and standard 3D machining functions, 3D Simulations, Tool database tuned up for the most sold materials, providing an ideal first step to 3D designing for companies based in the Signmaking, Die & Moldmaking fields.

A wide range of features are available allowing users to add further skills as more advanced projects arise.

The software is available for 32-bit and 64-bit Operating Systems and runs on the last service packs of Windows XP, Vista and Seven.

Made easy to use, ArtClip3D brings users the capability to customise and set by default their preferred User Interface, enabling the optimization of the work space and focusing on  what is important: Designing.

A Favorites palette of design tools is fully customizable, displaying the most used tools at a slight mouse motion click.

The Software comes with 2 installed libraries of 2D vectors and 3D vectorclips that new users can use to create new models.
All the files can be adjusted and scaled within the 3 axis, then combined to give new designs for machining.

Artclip3D can also import DXF, DWG, AI, EPS, IGS, HPGL 2D formats, plus 3D designs from 3DM Rhino3D, 3D Studio Max, STEP, VDA, Digitized ISO and other formats of the ArtClip3D family such as VNA 3D opening the door to an online library access of over a 1000 ready-to-machine 3D objects from their online partner vectorclip3D.com

Users can also build their own 2D designs, the software including drawing tools for creating new geometries with node editing and repairing imported 2D files.  A text creation module supply a wide range of controls such as stroke lines and TTF standard fonts with full control over spacing, kerning management, and line and paragraph formatting.  Any new vector designs built can be saved into a Symbol library where Raster images, 3D objects as Surfaces are kept available from one click for future use.

To help preview the machining result, designs can be rendered in various standard materials, including the most common metals and several types of wood. If the completed design requires proofing from customer, ArtClip3D can then create images that can be attached to emails, or export STL format that may be used for 3D PDF creation.

Once the design is done, the software offers a wide range of strategies for CNC machining.  2D strategies provided allow area clearance, surfacing, milling cavities, engraving text as well as V-Carving projected, from vector-based detection and on all standard Windows True Type fonts without particular convertion.

In addition, 3D raster toolpaths can be generated within vector boundaries allowing optimization of tool motions and gain of machining time.

The software is supplied with a complete tooling database set for material, pre-set of feed rates and Spindle speeds are already added, users being able to change or add new tools as it goes.

2D and 3D simulations can be generated on the design prior to machine it, offering previews of cut and validating result prior running the CNC.

Users can also compare results obtained with different tools or machining strategies on the computer through Toolpath reports, helping in saving time and money. Toolpaths list can then be exported and post-processed to more than 450 different types of routing and engraving machines, using proven range of post-processors.
